It has been a long off season. With the pain and joy from Collegiate Track Nationals we went into a long rest. Now that we are down to the last 35 days until Collegiate Road season kicks off in Columbus Ohio at Ohio State February 23rd we are really pushing forward to bring Marian College its first National Title on the Road to go with the 10 Track Nationals.
With the newly completed Cycling Center we have been laying down the base miles this week. Whether it has been the easy day of Sub LT, Over Gear efforts, or the 3 man Team Time Trials on the Compu Trainers. I have really learned something important about this season. It is great to watch your progress as a rider with a Power meter but you dont want to get caught into what numbers your team mates are throwing out as well.
On a last note I would like to thank all of the people that have made this a possibility for this team to have such a great opportunity. Whether it is the former coaches and riders, present riders, school admins, Mr Haklin, donaters, or just all the efforts that Coach Peterson has done to make this happen.
